FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to some of the most common questions about FFCA SEE Family Picture Day on October 18th.
Q1 – Do I need to register in advance?
Yes. It is very important that we have accurate numbers so that we can accommodate as many families as possible while also maximizing our use of the available time. Advance registration is key to achieving those goals!
Q2 – I can’t make it during the scheduled date/time. Will there be any other times made available?
We have 20 available sessions scheduled. If all of the available slots fill up then we may consider scheduling some additional times.

Q3 – Do I get to pick the images used in my package?
Yes. You will have an opportunity to select the image(s) to be used before they are printed or delivered digitally.
Q4 – How many people can I bring to the session?
Sessions are for immediate families only, which typically includes up to 2 adults and up to 3 kids. Families with more than 3 children can definitely be accommodated but you might consider registering for 2 back-to-back sessions to ensure that a great group portrait and individual portraits of all of your family members can be created.
Note that the portable studio that we will be bringing really isn’t large enough to handle extended family members. Please call Sean at 403-615-3708 if you have any questions.
Q5 – How many proof images will we get to see from our session?
There are many answers to this question:
- Every session will be different and it will depend on many factors. The age and cooperation of the children, as well as the size of each family are all significant.
- We will try to ensure that every family gets one great group portrait as well as an individual portrait of each family member. If everything goes smoothly then we may be able to do multiple variations of each pose or to provide additional options for you to review.
- In a typical 10 minute mini session we expect to provide 15-20 proofs for you to review; however, we can’t guarantee a minimum number of proofs for each session, and in some cases there may even be more.
Q6 – Are digital files included in my package?
The $30 session fee includes EITHER a small print package (with 1-8×10 and 2-5×7 prints) OR 1 high res digital file.
Additional prints and specialty products will be available for purchase following the session. Digital files will also be available to purchase from all sessions.
Q7 – Can I order other print sizes?
There will be a wide variety of additional print sizes, specialty products, and digital files available after the session. These will be at a discount to our normal studio rates for 2 weeks following the session, after which they will go back up to our normal prices.
