Free Desktop Wallpaper for July 2011

This months background wallpaper image comes from North Glenmore Park in Southwest Calgary. I had been there for an evening photoshoot and was getting ready to head for home. I couldn't help myself when I saw this amazing vista. This is the scene looking back along the river towards Weaselhead Provincial Park. The glowing sun lit up all the greenery in the area and made for an amazing landscape scene! This is one advantage to all of the rain we've had in Calgary this spring! Download To install the image as your desktop background, simply click on the link below that corresponds to the file resolution you would like to use. When the larger image appears in your browser window right-click on the picture and select “Set as Desktop Background...”. For some browsers (Google Chrome for sure) you may have to choose "Save As..." to copy the image to your desktop first. You can then right-click on the file on your desktop and choose “Set as Desktop Background...”. Note that due to time constraints I have only prepared the two most popular sizes this month. If you really need one of the other sizes please let me know!

WRC Soccer Update

I've been getting a few calls and emails asking for an update on delivery of the pictures for WRC Soccer. All of the images have been delivered to the WillowRidge Community Center. As I understand it the U6 and U8 Pictures will be handed out at the Wind Up BBQ on June 22nd along with the medals and some food and fun. U10 and U12 team managers can contact Francine at the Community Center ([email protected] or call 403-271-8044) to find out when and where to pick up their picture packages.
