Another Greeting Card Example

I've been working on some images from a recent family portrait session, and also creating some new Christmas Card designs at the same time. It was a natural fit to test some of the images from the portrait session with the new greeting card design. I liked it so much I just had to show it off. What do you think? This was such fun session and I have lots of images to go through. I'm very excited by lots of them and it's been very hard to pick my favorites! For more information about purchasing greeting cards, please see my recent Photo Greeting Card Product Showcase post.

Product Showcase – Photo Greeting Cards

NOTE - This article originally appeared in the September Newsletter. Custom Designed Photo Greeting Cards While I have made a few minor tweaks to my packages and pricing over the summer months, I really haven't made any major changes in quite a while. I have started a review of the products and services that I offer and it immediately came clear that I need to offer a wider variety of print products, including cards and gifts, albums, and even framed and matted images. I can certainly provide all of these things now, and I have been doing so on request, but I know that many people would prefer to have some easily accessible information about what is available and at what cost. Because I have a number of new products that I'm planning to roll out, I thought I would feature some of them in the newsletter. This month I'm going to showcase a few of the greeting card designs that I have made recently. This is of particular interest right now because my show special at the Calgary Moms Trade Fair this weekend is a bonus set of 20 custom greeting cards to be included with any portrait session booked by the end of the month. Greeting cards may be purchased with images from any portrait session and they are available as flat or folded cards. The flat cards are beautifully printed on professional quality photographic paper with a Lustre finish, while the folded cards are a press printed on card stock. Several papers and finishes are available. Mailing envelopes are included with every card. Pricing and Delivery Times Flat cards are available in sets of 10 for $40, 25 for $75, or 50 [...]

Vacation Delays

I just wanted to post a quick update to say that any response to inquiries or to orders posted between now and August 9th may be delayed. I will try to get to them ASAP; however, I will be in and out of town a couple of times and won't have internet access for most of it... Thanks for your understanding! Cheers, Sean PS - The image above is of Hoodoos in the Badlands at Writing on Stone Provincial Park in South Eastern Alberta. We went camping there for a few days and I really enjoyed roaming through the badlands under the light of the full moon. The place is very beautiful day and night, and it's a wonderful place to go camping. I highly recommend it!

Calgary Real Light Workshop

I would like to announce an incredible workshop opportunity coming to Calgary this summer. I hope you will consider joining me for two days with fashion and editorial photographer Troy Moth as he passes through Calgary on a cross Canada road trip this summer. This will be a hands-on photography workshop where Troy will show us what he does in typical (real-life) assignment situations, using equipment that is available to all of us. We will all get a chance to interact with the models and to create images of our own. This is a fantastic opportunity that doesn't come along very often. Where: Calgary Chinese Cultural Community Center (downtown Calgary near Eau Claire Market) When: July 24-25, 2010 Cost: $350 Instructor: Troy Moth - http://www.TroyMoth.com The Real Light Workshop Website: http://www.reallightworkshop.com Online Registration: http://reallightcalgary.eventbrite.com/ About the Instructor: The Troy Moth was born in the deep woods of British Columbia. He was raised by a group of tree planters and spent the first few years of life sleeping in a tent. After a few seasons the Moth moved to a ranch next to the ocean. The Moth still prefers sleeping in a tent to a bed and he now feeds mostly on pomegranates and lychee. As the Moth grew older, he migrated across Canada to Toronto with only his beard for protection. The Moth can now be spotted across Canada and India with his camera. While traveling India the Moth has shot for editorial clients such as: Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Grazia, Rolling Stone, and GQ. The Moth has also been spotted in Applied Arts Magazine for best in fashion the last two seasons. About the Real Light Workshops: "The workshop starts with the foundation, a basic [...]
