Fine Art Prints

This is just a short announcement to mention that I have created an online store to sell Fine Art Prints on Etsy. Etsy is a very cool place to go if you are looking for handmade crafts and gifts. There are all kinds of items available for purchase directly from the artist that created them. The store will initially contain a series of nature and landscape images, but will eventually expand to include more wildlife and street scenes. I have a massive collection of imagery to choose from but I intend to limit this collection to include only my favorites. SMArt Headshots | Better Business Portraits

I had an opportunity to create Business Portraits for the team at a local Calgary IT company called Service Management Art (SMArt). They needed a Portrait Photographer to make headshots for use on their website, social media accounts, and print materials. We had a fun portrait session in their offices and I came away with a few great images that I'm very happy with. Those of you that have heard me speak at a Calgary business networking meeting probably know how I feel about bad business portraits... they need to go away! Your business headshot is the first thing that people see when they look you up on your company website, on LinkedIn, on Facebook, or even on Twitter. Pawsitively Natural Puppy Meetup

My friends at Pawsitively Natural Dog Daycare hosted the "North Calgary Puppy and Small Breed Doggie Play Group" for some indoor play time on Sunday, March 6th and I was invited to photograph the pets at play. It was quite chaotic with the large number of dogs and people all there at the same time, but the dogs had lots of fun. I tried create some great candid images of all of the dogs, and during some of the quieter moments I also had some of the owners help by posing their pet friends. It's always very challenging to try to create great images when it's so chaotic, but I managed to get some pictures that I'm very happy with. The dogs were all very cute, friendly, and happy, and I even had a couple that decided I made a pretty good chair! It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! A few of my favorite images from the session can be found at the end of this post, and all of the processed images are available for viewing in the Client Area. Picture Day for Teams and Clubs

I know it seems like summer and summer sports are still a long way off, but it's never too early to start planning your sports activities. Registration has already come and gone for many Calgary summer sports leagues, and the rest of them can't be too far off. So with that in mind I wanted to provide some information about the Picture Day packages that I can offer for Sports Teams and Clubs.
