Get Your Bunny Ears On

I was setting up my studio for the Easter Mini Sessions this weekend and I needed to test out my lighting. I brought in my go-to test team and had them put on some bunny ears to see how they looked. Instant fun! These sessions are going to be lots of fun and we're going to create some very cute pictures of all the kids involved. And there's going to be chocolate!! Free Desktop Wallpaper for April 2011

This months background wallpaper image comes from a recent charity Pet Portrait event. This cute dog is a French Bulldog and we had lots of fun together! I love photographing dogs with character and I'm always excited when that character comes screaming through in the resulting images. I can't believe how long this dog's tongue is! Dog Day Images have been Posted

Thanks again to everyone who participated in our Dog Day Event at Pawsitively Natural last Saturday! The day was a huge success and the image proofs are now available in the client area. Note that these images are proofs. They have all been minimally retouched to ensure a decent exposure and to clean up the worst of the dirt and mess on the floor. Every image selected will be reviewed and cleaned up further. If you want any specific changes or cropping please be sure to make a note of it when ordering. View the Photo Galleries in the Client Area of the Website. Note also that while I tried to create a selection of images of each pet (sitting, standing, lying, head only, full body, etc.), in some cases we had only limited cooperation from the dogs involved and there may not be a full range of poses to choose from. Having said that there are good images of every dog (or family) and I'm positive that you will find something you like! A few of my favorite images from the session can be found at the end of this post, and all of the processed images are available for viewing in the client area. Dog Day was a huge Success!

Thanks to everyone that came out last Saturday for Pawsitively Portraits! The day was a huge success... We had 27 families participate and together we raised over $600 for charity! Here are some interesting facts about Dog Day: 27 families participated 34 Dogs and 1 Cat posed for pet portraits 1910 Image Files 42 GB of Data Obviously it's going to take a few days to go through all that data! I will let you know as soon as possible when the images are ready for viewing. Thanks to everyone for participating, for donating, and for supporting the charity. Thanks also to all the volunteers and staff for making this event run so smoothly.
