Reminder: Ladies Night of Indulgence

This is just a quick reminder that I will be "Ladies Night of Indulgence" this Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 5-10 PM. This is going to be a very fun event with several vendors providing wine, chocolate, and other delights. A Year in Pictures

I prepared the above video as part of a presentation I gave today and thought I should share it here as well. The intent was to show off some of my work but it in many ways it became a retrospective of work I've done in the past year. It has been an amazing year for me and as I approach the end of my first full year as a full-time professional photographer I can't help but get excited when I think back on all of the incredible opportunities that I've had. This video contains some of my favorite images and it shows the wide variety of work that I've done. I think it also shows off the style that I've developed in that time. It should be obvious that I love to photograph people. I love working with people of all ages, including families, children (even the furry ones), and other business people. But even more than that, I love to mix it up and to cover all the details of every event and every occasion. Thank you to all of my clients and friends for allowing me to come into your lives, to participate and to observe. I will cherish every memory, and I look forward to working with all of you again soon!

Business Portraits

I just wanted to quickly share a couple of the headshots I created at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce "Business After Hours" event the other night. The event was lots of fun and I made some really great contacts. I also reconnected with lots of other people that I have met at previous events. This was the first time that I had my own both in the trade show portion the event. We didn't have a typical booth though; we had a full photography studio setup and we offered a very special price for Business Portraits for anyone that wanted one. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Headshots at Business after Hours

This is just a quick note to announce that I will at the upcoming Calgary Chamber of Commerce "Business After Hours" networking event next Thursday and I will have a portable studio set up to do Headshots If you are in business for yourself then this event is a really great opportunity to meet and network with other business people. The people that go to events like this are always open minded about new opportunities and it it's always a strong potential to meet some great people and to pick up some leads for yourself and your business. As a side benefit, I will be there shooting Business Portraits for an extremely attractive price. I haven't worked out all the details of the offer just yet, so that's pretty much all I can tell you for now.
