High Energy Portrait Session with Miss B

I had a great session with Miss B at Prince's Island Park. B is an amazing little girl who never stops moving. She has boundless energy and loves to run and play. It was all I could do to focus her energy in a direction that I could use. Actually getting her to stop moving was virtually impossible. It made for some really fantastic (and very spontaneous) images. Thanks to B for letting me intrude on her playtime! Client access to the password protected galleries from this session is now available in the client area.

Trash the Dress at 10,000 Feet

Photography images from an adventurous Trash-the-Dress wedding photoshoot at the top of Cirque Peak in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The hike to Helen Lake is 16km (10 miles) up to the summit at 10,000 feet. It was a wonderful day in the mountains and the photoshoot was incredible.

Kieran’s 7th Birthday Party

When you mix a child's birthday party with some action sports you usually get one crazy group of people! How can you not get excited when you see kids having fun? I love to photograph sports and action and so this event was lots of fun to cover. I've actually been to Altadore Gymnastics club many times to watch and photograph my own children taking lessons, so I had a pretty good idea of some of the shots that I wanted to make. The kids didn't have to do anything fancy for me either, they just had to be themselves. I even got to have some of the ice cream cake afterwards! Congratulations to Kieran for turning another year older!

Agnew Family Reunion

I was invited to attend a party that, although billed as a 60th Birthday Party, was as much a family reunion for the extended family as it was to celebrate the birthday. The family has always been extremely close and they barely need a reason to have a party. As a result it was a large group; somewhere around 50 people! It was a beautiful day at an old farm property in rural Ontario, which made for a beautiful backdrop for the party. Everyone had a great time catching up, eating great food, and playing games. One special part of the day that I really enjoyed watching was when trees were planted in the names of all of the young children in the family. The trees were marked with the children's names so that they can find them when they return to visit in the future. It was a really neat idea and I'm sure that everyone will remember it for a long time. Here are a few of my favorite images from the event:

Vacation Delays

I just wanted to post a quick update to say that any response to inquiries or to orders posted between now and August 9th may be delayed. I will try to get to them ASAP; however, I will be in and out of town a couple of times and won't have internet access for most of it... Thanks for your understanding! Cheers, Sean PS - The image above is of Hoodoos in the Badlands at Writing on Stone Provincial Park in South Eastern Alberta. We went camping there for a few days and I really enjoyed roaming through the badlands under the light of the full moon. The place is very beautiful day and night, and it's a wonderful place to go camping. I highly recommend it!
