Announcing the 2nd annual Calgary Dog Photography day at PAWSitively Natural Dog Daycare. This is a great opportunity for you to get some beautiful portraits of your pet friend(s) at amazing prices while also supporting a local charity, PALS.
I was honored to be one of the photographers asked to create pet portraits for the annual Pawsitive Dawgs Training (aka PDawgs) calendar this year. This is a charity calendar that will raise money for Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation. Pawsitive Match is a pet rescue organization that helps to match pets that need a new home with a perfectly matched owner. All of the profits from the sale of this years calendar will go to Pawsitive Match to help them do the things they do. The Calendar looks amazing and I am so happy to have been involved! I have a few copies of the calendar available for sale for $10 each. These will make great Christmas Presents, so please let me know how many you need. One of the favorite parts of my job is seeing how excited people get when they recieve their print orders! It was a really great feeling to get most of the Dog Day print orders prepared and ready to go, and I'm excited to see and hear the reactions as people see the prints of their furry friends! Having said that, this was a large volume of orders to get out all at the same time and sometimes mistakes happen. I just finished putting together a Wall Panel for one of the clients that participated in our recent Dog Day promotion and I thought I would share it here. These beautiful Papillon's are very cute and they were pretty easy to work with. I love the sparkle in their eyes!
Thanks again to everyone who participated in our Dog Day Event at Pawsitively Natural last Saturday! The day was a huge success and the image proofs are now available in the client area. Note that these images are proofs. They have all been minimally retouched to ensure a decent exposure and to clean up the worst of the dirt and mess on the floor. Every image selected will be reviewed and cleaned up further. If you want any specific changes or cropping please be sure to make a note of it when ordering. Note also that while I tried to create a selection of images of each pet (sitting, standing, lying, head only, full body, etc.), in some cases we had only limited cooperation from the dogs involved and there may not be a full range of poses to choose from. Having said that there are good images of every dog (or family) and I'm positive that you will find something you like! A few of my favorite images from the session can be found at the end of this post, and all of the processed images are available for viewing in the client area.
